About The Grace Village Care Foundation

Grace Village has been serving seniors in the Eastern Townships since 1957, when Dr. W. J. Klinck and a group of visionary Townshippers founded the Grace Home to provide compassionate care for English-speaking seniors in the region. Over the decades, Grace Village has grown into a respected, bilingual community that welcomes residents from all backgrounds while remaining grounded in its founding values of dignity, compassion, and family.

Established in 2004, the Grace Village Care Foundation is a separate charitable organization dedicated to supporting the residents of Grace Village. While Grace Village provides daily care and operations, the Foundation raises and manages charitable funds to ensure that financial hardship never prevents a resident from receiving the care they need.

Through donor support, the Foundation provides financial assistance to residents who cannot fully cover the cost of care and invests in programs, equipment, and facility enhancements that enrich daily life. These efforts help create a safe, modern, and nurturing environment where seniors can thrive socially, emotionally, and physically. 

Many of our residents have shaped the bilingual fabric of our community, contributing to its growth and leaving a legacy. When unexpected challenges arise, the Foundation ensures they can continue to call Grace Village home
